If your car is overheating and you’re often finding plenty of smoke seeping out of the gaps in the bonnet, and then make sure you do the following checks
- Check your coolant level, this is the most obvious cause, and a low level will certainly see your radiator overheat.
- Check any fans or malfunction on your radiator, and this is easier said than done, so you may want to consult an experienced mechanic.
- Check for a build of dirt or grime, and this s could mean that the coolant is not travelling to the right destination inside of the radiator, meaning certain parts are overheating.
- If you can’t spot any glaringly obvious problems then always make sure you consult a mechanic, and it’s always a case of the earlier, the better.
