Should reliability be your main focus when it comes to choosing a new car?

When it comes to choosing your new car you may either be the type of person that thinks a car is just a mode of transport and don’t really care too much what it looks like or you may think your car reflects your personality and you want to be driving something you you think looks nice.

It may be that that you really enjoy driving and would happily spend a day trip out driving around. Many people see cars as a status symbol so therefore they want the latest model or a specific make to show friends and family that they are doing well in life.

What is really important to you? Do you want to go purely for looks or would you rather try and find something that is reliable? You may not have to choose between the two. If you have a newer car then it may be reliable and look good. Often though, if you are on a tight budget you may need to sacrifice the looks slightly to get something that is a bit more reliable.

No one wants to be spending lots of money on repairs and having to go for a day or a week without your vehicle. Some manufactures have a better reputation than others when it comes to reliability.
