Car lights are another part that needs to be regularly checked as faults can occur at any time after the MOT has been carried out. It is a good idea to carry spare bulbs in the car so that lights can be repaired quickly.

The braking system of the vehicle is checked comprehensively during the MOT, but faults can occur at a later date. Any issue with brakes needs to be attended to immediately as it could have serious consequences.
