The weather in the UK can be very unpredictable in spring with torrential rain one minute and sunny skies the next. Keeping a vehicle clean can be a challenge especially if you live in the countryside and have to travel along muddy country lanes and tracks on a regular basis. How can you keep your vehicle clean for the majority of the time in these circumstances?

It is not only important to clean your vehicle, but it is actually an offence if your number plate cannot be easily read. The vehicle lights and windscreen need to be kept clean too so that there is not reduced visibility for the driver.

The simplest way to keep your car clean is to visit a car wash, either automatic or a hand wash every week or two as this will keep on top of the dirt. Perhaps once a month you could pay for a full valet where the inside and the outside are cleaned. This is especially good if you have to transport children in your car as the interior can quickly get messy. If you cannot visit a carwash and have to clean the car yourself a good tip is to have a hosepipe connected and easily accessible so that you can quickly wash the car every week and prevent it getting too dirty.
